Mail.ru Group, Ооо is a Russian internet company. It was begun in 1998 as an email service and proceeded to become a major corporate figure in the Russian-speaking segment of the Internet. Around 2013 according to comScore, sites owned by Mail.ru collectively had the largest audience in Russia and captured the most screen time. 

Mail.ru's sites reach around 86% of Russian Internet users on a monthly basis and the company is in the top 5 of largest Internet organizations, based on the number of all total pages viewed. Mail.ru controls and operates the 3 largest and most famous Russian social networking sites, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, and Moi Mir, respectively. 

Mail.ru holds 100% of shares of Russia's most famous social network VKontakte[7] and minority stakes in Qiwi, formerly OE Investments (15.04%). It additionally operates two instant messaging networks (Mail.ru Agent and ICQ), an email service and Internet portal Mail.ru, as well as a number of online games. 

The business was originally owned by Port.ru, a company established in 1998 by Eugene Goland, Michael Zaitsev and Alexey Krivenkov as spin-off from DataArt. It received an initial investment of US$1 million from the well-known investor (and fencing champion) James Melcher. 

In July 2019, Tencent-sponsored iDreamSky Technology Holdings and Mail.ru Group declared a coalition in the gaming sector in China and Europe. In December 2019, Mail.ru Group formed a partnership with Sberbank to build up the food and transportation service O2O. 

In 2020, the state Russian Direct Investment Fund, China's Tencent, Naspers, and others purchased $600 million of GDRs and bonds from Mail.ru. The assets were raised for the advancement of O2O and AliExpress Russia.

Yahoo!, Inc. is an American web program provider located in Sunnyvale, California, and owned by Verizon Media. The original Yahoo! company was established by Jerry Yang and David Filo in January 1994 and was incorporated on March 2, 1995. Yahoo was one of the leaders on the early Internet era during the 1990s. 

Yahoo! developed rapidly all through the 1990s and enhanced into a web-based portal, followed by various prominent acquisitions. Despite its decline from unmistakable quality, Yahoo domain sites are still among the most popular, ranking 10th on the planet as indicated by the Alexa rankings as of October 2019.
